Empowering the coach

Live virtual production From the beginning, Illustra recognized the need for an approach to live virtual training that was more interactive and televisual; to meet the expectations of sophisticated audiences who needed a more engaging impactful experience than was being offered by conventional webinars.To address this we put together a multidiscipline team of people from the worlds software design, television and business training. The result is an environment that enables tightly produced workshops that attract extremely high levels of participation and engagement.

To enable this level of participation and engagement our coaches are supported as if they were the presenter in a mini online tv studio. With a session producer live switching web cams, placing participants in and out of team breakouts, orchestrating interactive engagements and calling in different forms of media to support the coach. Utilizing our multidiscipline approach our coaches work closely with producers and software architects to design unique flows of intentional interactivity to the suite the learning objectives of each program. Our aim is always to utilize the technology to support the natural flow of conversation between coaches and participants at all stages in a workshop or program.

Real time monitoring As participants engage in exploratory discussions, individual reflections, team breakouts and many different customized interactive exercises coaches have a separate display that enables them to monitor each participants inputs in real time. This capability enables levels of dialogue and engagement that can exceed anything that had been possible in the conventional face to face classroom.

The coach is also able to monitor the activity of participants working in their Team and Individual action plans - providing feedback and coaching where necessary
